Yes indeed! Our free sounds are 100% ROYALTY FREE.
Use them in your musical productions, no prob. Use them in your commercially released tracks and go #1 on the charts, it’s all good!
Keep in mind the license is strictly for musical/score compositions. Our sounds can’t be used to build new sound packs nor be part of a third party app/software instrument. If you are a professional sound library company or software developper wanting to use our sounds please contact us and we will happy to agree on a solution.
What’s the license used for HelloSamples libraries?
HelloSamples is the owner and master licenser of all the products for sale on www.hellosamples.com. Purchasing any of these products gives you a lifetime, non-exclusive right to incorporate the sounds in any musical production.
Keep in mind the license is strictly for musical/score compositions. Our sounds can’t be used to build new sound packs, programs or patches for any sampler, sample playback unit, website or computer nor be part of a third party app/software instrument. If you are a professional sound library company or software developper wanting to use our sounds please contact us and we will happy to agree on a solution.
Finally, understand that this is a very little company. We balance this handicap putting a lot of efforts and love in what we do. Uploading our PREMIUM sound libraries to cloud storage services and spreading the links in warez communities is a way to slow down our work and discourage us to continue doing it. We hope you’ll understand.
Are the samples compatible with my sampler or DAW?
Our Premium Sounds are usually delivered in 44.100Hz – 24Bits. They are virtually compatible with every sampler available.
Some packs include Ableton, Maschine or Kontakt instruments.
I loaded your Kontakt instruments but I can’t make them play and a “DEMO” image shows inside Kontakt. Why?
Our Kontakt instruments are programmed to only play with a full Kontakt licence.
The free Kontakt Player is a light version of Kontakt that’s designed to only play sample libraries that license this software from Native Instruments. These libraries are usually referred to as “Player” libraries, compared to “non-Player” libraries which don’t license the free Kontakt Player.
The primary reason that some libraries license the Kontakt Player is so that users don’t need to own the full version of Kontakt to use the library. Due to the cost associated with licensing the Kontakt Player, it’s uncommon for free and inexpensive sample libraries to license the Kontakt Player. If you load our instruments inside the free Kontakt Player, it will appear in a time-limited demo mode.
However, the full retail version of Kontakt can play both Player and non-Player libraries. It also offers additional features such as being able to edit instruments as well as create your own instruments—a useful option even if you only need to quickly map a few samples to make a playable patch.
If you’re unsure which version of Kontakt you have, it’s easy to check. The full version of Kontakt simply has the text “KONTAKT” in the upper left corner of the interface, while the free Kontakt Player displays “KONTAKT PLAYER” instead.
I haven’t received my download links after the purchase. What can I do?
If you haven’t received email confirmation for your purchase there could be a number of reasons for this. First, we strongly recommend checking your spam folder as sometimes our emails may be mistaken for junk mail. Also make sure you have used the right email address when ordering. If all else fails feel free to contact us and we will reply back with your download links.
How can I download the libraries again?
Corrupt external hard drives, dropping milk over your computer… we’ve all lost files in some point of our lives. Since there’s an expiration date set to all download links, you can send us a message through our contact form with your purchase e-mail address, and we’ll reset your download links right away so you can keep on making music!
